Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz was born in Winona Minnesota. The name of her parents was derived from her hometown. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder is Jewish. Ryder believes that her father came from a Jewish background. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder along with her whole family relocated to Mendocino, California in the year 2000, when Ryder was only seven years old. Here, they did not have electricity. Ryder began to be a committed read because they had no television. Ryder aged 12 took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas was released in 1986. Ryder, who was barely 15 years old, landed a role as a leading actor. Ryder was bullied throughout her teenage years. Ryder hoped her career as an actor would be able to bring about change. Sadly that didn't happen. But she continued to pursue her dream. In 1988, she received her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in various films. In 1993, she received an Academy Award in the film The Age of Innocence.
